Introduction to Palmistry

Palmistry is the study of our hands; A palmist looks at lines, mounts, skin texture, ridges, hand shape, fingers, special markings and more to interpret a hand. Palmistry consultant analyses various aspects of the hand to decipher our life path, career, relationship, fate, happiness, success, failures, trials and tribulations.

Many clients have expressed their interest in learning about palmistry and gaining an insight into palm reading and learning to recognise and understand important aspects of their own hands. I offer an introductory workshop which provides my clients with a unique opportunity in gain some knowledge into this field.

Palmistry workshop

I also conduct one day workshop in Melbourne, Australia. Minimum of 6- 8 people are required for the workshop. During the workshop you can learn to analyse your own palms and learn the basics of palmistry. 

The workshop offers taking images of your hand as well has taking hand prints with soluble ink.  At the end of the workshop you get to keep your digital images and palm prints for future reference. The following will be covered in the workshop and it will be an introduction to palmistry.

Course Contents

Part 1: Brief history of palmistry, theory behind how palm reading works, hand and skin texture, rules,  privacy and responsibility of  palm readers.     

Part 2: Types of hands, rings, general features of the hands, color of the hand, fingers, type of  fingerprints, marking, shapes, patterns and nails       

Part 3: Thumb, nails and finger length, spacing, size, shape and angle.

Part 4: Primary lines: life, head, heart and fate lines, Secondary lines: Apollo, mercury, relationship and travel, Intuition, girdle of Venus and simian lines.  Lucky signs on the hand and how to interpret major lines      

Course Contents


Part 5: Study of mounts: Jupiter, Saturn, sun, Apollo, mercury, mars, moon, Venus and their interpretation.    

Part 6: Love, relationship and compatibility

Part 7: Introduction to medical palmistry and scientific palmistry; case studies of various diseases.

Part 8: How to take digital prints and ink prints for palm reading. (Please bring your own digital camera/mobile phone to take the images, if possible)
